Elbows the young bull terrier came to me anxious and mouthy, greeting everyone with excited biting that sometimes drew blood and always scared guests. Her family was also dealing with constant shoe stealing, uncontrollable barking, and a dog who dug in her heels the moment anyone asked her to do something. We rebuilt everything through structured play, teaching her that cooperating with her people is more rewarding than fighting them. The biting is gone, the stealing has stopped, and she can wait politely for guests to come in the house.
